Pontem is launching an IntelliJ Move language IDE plugin for Aptos development. This feature-rich IDE plugin for the Move language is integrated natively with Aptos CLI tooling. Move, initially developed for Diem by Meta, is used by Aptos, the most secure, scalable, and reliable Layer 1 blockchain.

This IDE plugin pioneers the development landscape for Aptos and the broader Move ecosystem. Developers can now easily get started building, testing and deploying Move smart contracts on Aptos by simply downloading this IDE plugin. By dramatically lowering the barrier to entry with this essential developer tool, many more community members will experience the speed, elegance, and safety of Aptos and Move.
